Stressed Woman

Stress is a normal reaction in our body to a change, but many of us are constantly in a fight or flight situation.  This is an unhealthy position to be for a long duration; it causes digestion issues, adrenal taxation, fatigue with possibly sleep issues, reduced immunity, high blood pressure, jaw clenching, headaches or dizziness, heart palpitations and chest pain.

Often stress can contribute to anxiety.  Causing acute panic attacks; genuine physical symptoms such as palpitations, racing heart rate, sweating, shortness of breath, a feeling of being smothered, chest pain or discomfort, nausea or abdominal issues, being dizzy, unsteady or faint.   It is estimated that 40% of the population suffer from anxiety and panic attaks.

Stress and anxiety are a hidden pandemic in the fast paced world we live in.  Our expectations of ourself, and what we think society is asking from us is pushing us further into this spin; but acupuncture and CM can help.  Enhancing your coping mechanism, aiding sleep, reducing sweating and heart palpitations, and getting your digestion working better and helping you to listen and care for yourself better.  Unfortunately as you go further into a stressful state your digestion and energy reduces, and therefore so does your coping mechanism continuing this adverse cycle until you burn out.

Come and get help with your stress and anxiety.  Often we find as you start down this path of self-care you make some lasting changes to sustain this new way of life.
